Intermec 的2100工业级AP已于2005年2月正式停产。目前已不接受订货。2100系列AP是在1998年推出的世界上第一台工业级AP，到目前为止还没有同等的竞争产品。新的代替产品是Intermec WA21B。WA21B仅支持IEEE 802.11b/g和IEEE 802.11a。Intermec将继续对2100提供支持和服务，直到2010年。
